Aluminum
pond structures featuring flanges by Drainage Specialties
for fast watertight
installation
Drainage Specialties has been a manufacturer and distributor of products and equipment for water drainage systems for over twenty years. The firm was founded in Savannah, Georgia by Mr. Paul Weller in 1988 following his retirement from Kaiser Aluminum Company and many years work in the field of soil conservation and surface water management. He designed a number of products used in the application of steel and aluminum culvert pipe in solving surface water management problems including flanges for joint connections, shear gates, flap gates, risers and others. The company was acquired from Mr. Weller in 1988 by Gerald W. Creel who continues it's operation today using the original designs developed by Mr. Weller.
Our rolled angle flanges for culvert pipe provide the best, most water tight
fittings available for pipe diameters from 12" through 72". We also manufacture
plate flanges in steel and aluminum for pipe diameters of 6" through 10".
Our fabricated neoprene foam gaskets are available to complete the watertight
integrity of flanged joints for all sizes of pipe flanges.
Drainage Specialties distributes its products through fabricators, contractors, culvert pipe manufacturers and installers throughout the United States for many applications. They are used in a wide range of installations including surface water impoundments for soil, water and wildlife conservation projects, roadway projects, mining operations, quarries irrigation and many others.
A gasketed, flanged joint is the most effective means of creating a watertight connection for culvert pipe in a virtually all applications. It is also the strongest most efficient way to transport, assemble and install structures and fabrications in the field. Anywhere a water tight connection for culvert pipe is critical, specify flanges from Drainage Specialties.
